Welcome to Linda Martin Hypnotherapy.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you why you should choose Clinical Hypnotherapy to improve your life. It may be that you want to stop doing something (e.g. bad habit, unwanted behaviour) or you are finding something is preventing you from enjoying life (e.g. a phobia, lack of confidence, debilitating shyness) or perhaps you are in need of a de-stress session to give you clarity of mind and help you make those decisions you keep putting off. Hypnotherapy can treat an extensive range of conditions. And because each person is unique, each of my sessions is tailor-made to the client I have in front of me. The benefits of using Hypnotherapy versus another style of therapy is that it can achieve much quicker results than other therapies because of the fact that you are working directly with the subconscious mind.

I hope you find the information on this website useful. Its aims to answer your questions factually, openly and honestly and provide you with all the information you need to decide if this therapy is right for you. Please feel free to email me if you have anything specific you would like me to answer on linda@lindamartin.co.uk. I offer a free initial consultation and would be happy to take your call to arrange an appointment to discuss your needs.

Some Common Myths Dispelled

+ Its safe. Hypnosis is a very natural state. Your body is automatically in this state every day just before you wake up and just before you drift off to sleep.

+ Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are not the same.

+ Getting into Hypnosis is a consensual state. Clients decide if they want to be hypnotised.

+ You cannot get `stuck’ in Hypnosis. You can come out whenever you choose.

+ Achieving Hypnosis is the sign of a strong mind, not a weak one.

+ In the state of Hypnosis, you are conscious and aware of what you are saying/doing.

+ There is no specific associated feeling with Hypnosis so you may not feel any different.

+ You will not be compelled to reveal your deepest darkest secrets, unless you decide you want to.

+ Hypnotherapy does require a conscious desire by the client to get better.
